During the forum, Ma Yansong mentioned that “culture has become diversified, and discussing “weird” is meaningless. Architects must continue to create and imagine what our future will be. Without experiments, there will be no future.” When talking about modern high-rise buildings, Ma Yansong commented that “currently, super-high-rise buildings are not too difficult from a technical point of view, so we have to think about what value architecture can bring to human civilization and culture.”
