Absolute officials, Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion, and MAD partner Jiang Ping attended the topping-out ceremony on November 19. Jiang Ping mentioned: "Mississauga has become a city of energy. We are very honored that our design has become a part of this city. It is even more exciting to see so many people like this building. We firmly believe that through these beautiful curves, these two apartments that are closely connected to the city and nature will become unique architectural works. It is so exciting to see them outside the building, and even more exciting will be the living scenes inside the building."

The Absolute Towers was designed in 2006 with a total construction area of 95,000 square meters. It is nicknamed the Monroe Towers by local people and media. The 50-story sister building is expected to be topped out next spring, and the entire project will be completed in the fall of 2011.
