"Shanshui City" is the overall core concept of MAD' design, which proposes to closely combine the density, function and landscape of the city to build a future city that can resonate with the emotions of urban residents. In the lecture, Ma Yansong shared with everyone the concept and origin of "Shanshui City", and extended the discussion on the conception and artistic conception of the design of the series of works.

The School of Design at the University of Melbourne is one of the best design schools in Australia. It established the Department of Architecture and Planning in 1927 and has a diverse campus culture and a strong alumni network.

From July 30 to August 15, the 17-day MAD "Shanshui City" exhibition was also held at the Wunderlich Gallery of the University of Melbourne. The exhibition displayed MAD's series of works such as the Absolute Towers, Ordos Museum, Nanjing Zendai Himalayas Center, etc. in the form of traditional scrolls, and also displayed the city forest and Dalian Golden Pebble Beach models.
