As an exhibit of the 2009 Shenzhen-Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale, MAD's Monster Footprints appeared in the center of the main exhibition venue, Shenzhen Civic Square. This is a 120-square-meter sunken space with a pink EPDM elastic rubber surface, which is a place for people to play freely in the center of the city.
