MAD's four representative architectural works, Hutong Bubble, Ordos Museum, Beihai Rockery and Landscape City Research, are exhibited in the Biennale. These four works express MAD's architectural concept and its vision of living in future cities from three different levels: city, culture, and residence. MAD has been exploring the deep connotations of oriental tradition and modern cities, trying to reinterpret tradition through a modern artistic conception, and proposing strategies to deal with future high-density cities. The physical model of the Hutong Bubble project will also be donated to the Tongji University Architecture Museum for permanent collection.

The document exhibition in this exhibition also sorted out the context of exhibitions and publications held in different periods of the Chinese architectural community. These documents show that MAD, as an architectural firm that combines theory and practice, has an important historical position in China's rapid development in the past 10 years.
