"Creative Tokyo" is a conceptual forum aimed at consolidating Tokyo's position as a creative capital. It attempts to attract relevant information and funds from all over Asia to the "creative industry" and try to tap the potential of the local economy. The chairman of the forum, Fumio Nanjo, invited many experts from the creative industry to attend, including Michael Lynch, CEO of West Kowloon, and designer Kenya Hara, and other industry experts to discuss the definition of future design today.
In order to explore the potential of the future creative industry and the rebirth and reorganization of local society, the active participation of political representatives, artists, and entrepreneurs from various regions of Japan conveyed the message of Tokyo's charm to the world and also intended to stimulate consumption in Japan from all over the world and promote tourism to Japan.
