The moon defines the night, and the ancients rested at sunset. Gravity creates tides, and the changes in the moon also define the passage of time and the change of seasons. With the development of modern civilization, lights have changed the length of the night, air conditioning has changed the temperature of the seasons, and the Internet has changed space and distance. Man-made objects are changing people's perception of nature.

The 15th day of the eighth lunar month is the brightest and roundest time of the year. It is a day for families to enjoy the moon and drink wine. MAD has raised a 6-meter-diameter light installation work "Not the Moon" in the sky in the center of Beijing's old city. A simple sphere undergoes fission, rotation, dispersion, and gathering in multiple dimensions, and finally turns from abstract to concrete, generating a moon full of vitality, showing the multi-dimensional expressions of contemporary cities in the new media era. It allows people in the real space of the city to empathize and get closer.
