"Clover House," located in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, is a children's education institution run by a family. MAD founding partner Ma Yansong shared, "I think creating a home-like atmosphere for this kindergarten is essential, so we decided not to construct an entirely new building but to preserve the original wooden structure and make it part of the new space's memory and soul." MAD's design maintains the original wooden structure of the house and adds a white "tent shell" around it, creating a futuristic, open, and enclosed space that feels like home. This design allows children to learn and grow in a place that blends the past, present, and future.
