The team members of Abitare magazine followed Ma Yansong for half a year, tracking his project sites, lectures, and project seminars in every corner of the world. The "Being Ma Yansong Special" has been freshly released. This special tells the story behind one of China's most dynamic architectural firms - MAD.

According to Ma Yansong's schedule, "Being Ma Yansong Album" is also divided into two parts, one is the construction site that is about to be completed, and the other is the new European projects that have just started. No matter which part, it reflects how Ma Yansong, as an architect, interprets architecture's care for humanity and love for nature from an artist's perspective, as well as his thoughts on traditional architecture and future urban development.

In addition to showing previously unseen projects, first-site inspections, and the latest research results, <Being Ma Yansong Album> also includes interviews with staff in the architectural firm and other partners.

"Being Ma Yansong Album" is the first time that Abitare has produced a special issue for Chinese architects. The same series previously published internationally include "Being Norman Foster Album", "Being Zaha Hadid Album" and "Being Jean Nouvel Album".
