In this ancient city with a Roman aqueduct built 2,000 years ago, Chinese architects collectively showed the West a new look of contemporary Chinese architecture. The MAD exhibition hall is the largest exhibition hall of this exhibition, displaying representative works such as Shanshui City Research, Monroe Building, Pingtan Art Museum, Wood Sculpture Museum, Roman Apartment and Hutong Bubble, injecting an oriental artistic conception into the ancient city. The exhibition site also played a short film about MAD's "Shanshui City" exhibition held in a Qing Dynasty courtyard in Beijing in May this year, forming a dramatic scene of dialogue between Eastern and Western architecture and courtyards with this exhibition hall transformed from an old Spanish noble residence.

The exhibition was curated by the famous architectural critic Fang Zhenning, who used MAD's Shanshui City Research as the cover of the exhibition album. The mayor of Segovia and the Chinese ambassador to Spain visited the exhibition and spoke highly of MAD's work. Chinese architects represented by MAD are promoting a new round of Chinese architectural experiments, trying to introduce traditional Shanshui artistic conception into high-density cities. This is also the second time that MAD has exhibited architectural works in Spain since its solo exhibition at the ICO Exhibition Hall in Madrid in March this year.
