Ma Yansong's new book exhibition "Shanshui City" was held at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing from September 27 to October 7, 2014. In the new book, Ma Yansong tells readers the origin, extension, practice and future vision of "Shanshui City" in a very personal language. The book was designed by Kenya Hara himself, and the models of MAD's representative works of "Shanshui City" in the past ten years were re-photographed.

On the afternoon of September 27, the forum for the launch of Ma Yansong's new book "Shanshui City" was held at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing. Ma Yansong, Bao Pao, Wang Mingxian, Gu Mengchao, Li Xiangning, and Fang Zhenning explained the historical origins of "Shanshui City" and discussed its role in promoting the future direction of modern Chinese architectural theory and practice.
