"Silhouette Landscape" is a work between an architectural model and a landscape installation. It is based on MAD's latest project released during the Venice Biennale - "Nanjing Zendai Himalayas Center".

The Nanjing Zendai Himalayas Center is another important practice of MAD's "Shanshui City" architectural concept. The high-rise buildings and small houses in the central area of the base present a small village environment located between high mountains and flowing water. Small bridges connect the village from one block to another, connecting the rockery and flowing water, forming a poetic painting.

In order to allow visitors to better appreciate the landscape concept based on traditional Chinese gardens, silhouettes of fabric landscapes were arranged at the exhibition site, creating a more tangible experience of "walking into the landscape" for visitors before they actually come into contact with the architecture.
