The total construction area of the project is about 120,000 square meters, mainly for office, commercial, and residential use. Located in Beijing CBD, adjacent to Chaoyang Park, the building and the park are in harmony with each other, and the architectural form echoes and interacts with the natural landscape in the park. The traditional artistic conception of Chinese landscape, such as lakes, springs, forests, streams, valleys, rock,s and peaks, is transformed into images in the building and used in the architectural language, creating a space with harmonious transition between high-density city and natural landscape.

The main high-rise building located at the northernmost side of the site consists of two asymmetrical towers, like smooth and upright rocks standing in the waterscape. The vertically protruding ridges on the facade are like the power of natural weathering, which melts the towers into several sheets. The smooth vertical lines contrast with the water surface of the park; the ventilation and filtration system running through the ridges introduces natural wind into the space, achieving energy conservation and environmental protection.

At the same time, natural elements are always present in the building as landscape: the two towers are connected by a 17-meter-high atrium space, and the sound of the flowing water of the indoor waterfall makes the entire lobby like a mountain valley; at the top of the building, the staggered platforms combined with the architectural curves extend into the multi-story high public space, making people feel like they are in a sky garden, overlooking the entire park and CBD, and the valley scenery of the multi-story building complex. The multi-story office building at the south end of the building complex is shaped like a rock washed by flowing water for a long time, round and distinctive, with a well-arranged layout, giving way to each other and forming an organic whole. The two multi-story residential buildings in the southwest section of the base continue the concept of "sky courtyard", and the staggered design allows each household to have more sunshine and opportunities to get close to nature. The entire building makes full use of natural light, realizes air purification and building intelligent control, and has obtained the LEED Gold Award certification from the US Green Building Council. The concept of "mountain and water" is not only reflected in technological innovation, but also in the overall planning concept - the Chaoyang Park Plaza project attempts to change the traditional CBD model, bring traditional poetry into the city, reconstruct the symbiotic relationship between architecture and environment in high-density and fast-paced areas, and create a future landscape concept that gives people emotional sustenance and a sense of belonging.
The Chaoyang Park Plaza project is expected to be completed in 2016.
