This year, we received hundreds of applications from all over the country, including undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students from various architectural majors. The travel destinations chosen by the five selected this year not only reflect their own creative approaches and motivations, but more importantly, each of them expressed the most intuitive understanding of the significance of this trip: personal experience is essential to fully understand the meaning of a building or a place.
Thanks to VERTU's long-term support and sponsorship, 10 students from all over China have received funding and traveled to many countries around the world, including Greece, Switzerland, the United States and Egypt. This summer, these 5 students will have the opportunity to travel for 7-10 days. After the trip, the students will have the opportunity to publicly present their results.
