Jon Kontuly joined MAD in 2017. He is a registered architect in California and New York. He received his Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing architecture at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University, where he earned his Master of Architecture.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, he has worked across all phases of architectural practice, from conceptual design through construction. At MAD, he helps lead the delivery of complex projects, bringing particular expertise in technical detailing, coordination, and execution.

Jon led MAD’s first residential tower in the United States, One River North in Denver, and has played a key leadership role on several major projects worldwide, including the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles.
