MAD held a press conference for the “MAD in China” Italian exhibition at the Italian Embassy.

"MAD in China - A Practice for the Future" will be exhibited at the DIOCESI Museum in Venice, Italy from September 8 to 30, 2006. The exhibition will be held at the same time as the Venice Architecture Biennale and will showcase two aspects of MAD's work. Among them is a series of works for "Beijing in 2050", which for the first time show MAD's vision for the future of Beijing, an ancient city, in the form of models and images. It involves many contents related to the urban theme of this Venice Architecture Biennale, such as urban culture, concepts and development, and also shows MAD's concern and imagination for China's future society, lifestyle, and city as an architectural practice. Another content of the exhibition is to display MAD's 12 design works in the past two years in the form of wallpaper, most of which are gradually becoming reality. The combination of theory and practice makes MAD's vision for the future more credible. The attention and discussion of their works may be a beginning for us to care about China's future cities.
